hplip block on LPT printer

Hi all
I installed a LPT1 printer a hp office jet T65 to add this printer was requested hplip I install the software that should de printer driver, when I print a file the file remain only in processing it wont go forwarder then that.
I hope I was explicitly enough.

Ok, a couple of questions. How did you install hplip, with yum?

Also, when you've installed hplip, it includes a program called hp-setup. You can try using that, sometimes it works better than the regular setup programs.

Hp-lip is install whit sh command.

LPT printer not working

Hi all.
I have a hp officejet T65 printer with LPT1 connection, when i sent a file to be printed, the file remain stacked in printer job whit status processing.
I use also hplip but don`t have a option for LPT1 port.
How do I have to configure the printer to work?
