I had fedora 18 KDE running on this Asus 1000 laptop and decided to upgrade to Fedora 25 KDE , got Fedora 25 to install and can run the live DVD.
I can Login User, Password and it goes to the big K but then it locks up and won't go into X
if I let it set for about 5 min. then I hit Return it goes back to login window and then i have to type in password to Unlock screen, it then goes back to the big K and just locks up.
It could be part of the broken KDE session dependencies which have surfaced in the past week.
Is there a chance that you can choose a different Session type ? like Gnome, Xfce or LXDE ?
