Alsamixer settings: Can't save them!

Hi All!

When trying to save the alsamixer settings, with "/usr/sbin/alsactl store", I get this error message:

/usr/sbin/alsactl: relocation error: /usr/sbin/alsactl: symbol snd_ctl_elem_info_is_user, version ALSA_0.9 not defined in file libasound.so.2 with link time reference

It has occured only recently. It seems to have occured since I opened new channels in the alsamixer.

How do I solve it?

Googling gives no hints about this one!

Look forward to your reply
